Sentence Analysis: Simple Structures
This section focuses on analyzing simple sentence structures, providing ejercicios de sintaxis resueltos (solved syntax exercises) for students to learn from.
The first exercise analyzes the sentence "Estás novidades serán diferentes, pero seguirán siendo un momento de descanso." (These novelties will be different, but they will continue to be a moment of rest.)
Example: The sentence is classified as an affirmative declarative sentence, active, personal, attributive, and intransitive.
The second exercise examines "Me protejo yo del virus, es decir, protejo a los demás." (I protect myself from the virus, that is, I protect others.)
Vocabulary:
- SN/SL: Sintagma Nominal/Sujeto Léxico (Noun Phrase/Lexical Subject)
- SV/PV: Sintagma Verbal/Predicado Verbal (Verb Phrase/Verbal Predicate)
- CCL: Complemento Circunstancial de Lugar (Adverbial Complement of Place)
These exercises demonstrate how to break down sentences into their constituent parts and classify them according to their syntactic properties.
